Workbooks

Workbooks are the unit of organization in Insight LM. A workbook holds source documents, data, notebooks, references, and generated artifacts for one effort.

Key ideas:

• Documents are views of data. Imported material becomes searchable, referenceable data — generated documents are views over it, not the source of truth.
• References keep results traceable. Claims in generated artifacts link back to the sources that support them.
• Workbooks are portable. They can be exported, shared, and imported.
